About the Director, Dr. Suresh Kattera

Dr. Suresh Kattera is a globally respected educator with more than 30 years of clinical, academic, and research leadership across India, Singapore, Europe and the United States. He is widely recognised for pioneering breakthroughs in IVF science and for shaping the next generation of embryologists through advanced postgraduate training.

As the Founder and Director of the Asia Pacific Institute of Embryology (ASPIER), he leads India’s premier MSc programme in Clinical Embryology & Pre-implantation Genetics, a unique curriculum that integrates clinical embryology with embryo biopsy and pre-implantation genetic testing. Under his leadership, ASPIER has become the most sought-after learning  centre for embryologists in India, producing highly skilled graduates who are now working in leading IVF centres across the country and abroad.

He was trained in clinical embryology in the USA, UK, Belgium and Italy and worked in various countries including Singapore where he was responsible for achieving highest pregnancies among all the IVF centres
